This Space for Rent

Well, I've officially decided to give up blogging. Unofficially, the decision had already been made since I haven't posted anything in way too long. I simply have nothing to offer now. I'm not giving up on my writing.....it just may be a while before I can throw myself back into it the way I want to. I know my many, many readers will be vastly disappointed (uhh...hi Andrea and Tessa). I'll be transforming back into my former lurk mode and silently cheering on the other writers as I read their blogs and websites, envious yet inspired by their journies, struggles and successes. I'll miss you guys!

Oh, sad. :( But I understand.

Hopefully see you around on my blog! Best wishes for your post-blog existence.

Awww. Sorry to hear it! I know, it's so hard keeping up with blogging. As you must have noticed, I've been getting worse and worse about making my rounds as a visitor. But please keep in touch, and I wish you all the best with your writing!

Well, I'm the guy who was searching Google for plot ideas and came across your blog. Your blog in fact foretold my coming. Bravo and mucho gusto to you. I still can't stop laughing because unfortunately your blog reminds me a bit of myself. (I'm just too chicken to blog about it.) I do, however, boast an excellent collection of writing books and notes taken during panel discussions of successful writers. hehe

Have you considered planning before you start writing? That's my latest preoccupation. . . and where the notes come in.

Well, I wish you the best additional anonymous aspiring author.

Cheers,
Weston

Weston, I'm glad you found your way to my blog even if it was after I decided to quit blogging :) I just realized I use way too many smiley faces in my replies :) :)

To answer your question, I have tried preplanning and still have yet to strike a good balance between planning enough so the story has an actual plot and planning so much that it sucks the creativity out of my writing. But maybe that's just me.

I wish you the best as well.
